Whether you're new to the publishing industry or looking to build on knowledge and experience for career advancement, the Editing certificate is designed to teach students foundational editing skills and discuss new trends and technologies that affect publishing professionals today. 

The University of Chicago is home to The Chicago Manual of Style, an authoritative resource used widely in the publishing industry. Editors from the University of Chicago Press are among our program instructors, and we invite you to engage their expertise through the Editing program offerings.     

Please join us for an online information session for an overview of our Editing certificate. In addition to an overview of the core courses, we will touch on best practices for incoming students and industry insights for professionals looking to jump into this exciting field.
