Susan Karani, BA, MA

Susan Karani is the principal author of The Chicago Manual of Style Workbook (forthcoming, University of Chicago Press). Previously she was a senior production editor at Stanford University Press and a production editor and manuscript editor at the University of Chicago Press, where she worked for over a decade. She also freelances as a developmental editor, manuscript editor, and publishing consultant. Her client list comprises Harvard University Press, imprints of Penguin Random House, and other academic presses. She earned a BA and an MA from the University of Chicago, and an MA from Columbia University.
