Jenny Gavacs

Jenny Gavacs is a freelance development editor with nine years’ experience, specializing in scholarly and crossover books. Previously she was an acquisitions editor at Stanford University Press, after also working in acquisitions at both Northwestern University Press and the University of Chicago Press. This career path has allowed her to edit diverse and award-winning books. Her first career was in journalism, however, and includes a degree from Northwestern University’s Medill School (as it was then) and an editorial job at Condé Nast’s flagship building in New York City.
