Ricki Ayala
Student Affairs Engagement Coordinator
Meet Ricki Ayala, a seasoned education professional dedicated to student belonging and success. With a diverse array of experiences, Ricki has built inclusive communities in the fields of higher education, public education, and public health. Ricki holds a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology from Georgetown University and holds certificates from Johns Hopkins University and Harvard University in the areas of psychological first aid and family engagement. Ricki is coming to the University of Chicago Professional Education from Rice University where he coordinated alumni and student engagement. Ricki has a passion for holistic student support that meets the needs of an ever-diversifying world and student body. Outside of the office, Ricki supports K-12 students in the Chicago Public School system, youth on the autism spectrum, and recent immigrants to the United States supporting their transition into the community. Ricki is elated to serve in his capacity and looks forward to supporting the ideals of diversity, inclusion, and student success.
