Cathleen Small, MA

Cathleen Small is an editor, writer, and instructor. She has edited hundreds of nonfiction books in the technical and legal fields, as well as dozens of novels, reports, and newsletters. She is the author of more than eighty nonfiction books for students in grades 5–12. She also teaches editing and writing classes for the University of Chicago and University of California, Berkeley. For the past two decades, she has operated Snyder Editorial Services, her freelance editing and writing business. Cathleen has a BA in English from Arizona State University and an MA in English from California State University, Sacramento.
