Human Resources Strategy and Operations Manager, University of Chicago

Christina Fox is a highly experienced HR Strategist with a passion for building, enhancing and cultivating a healthy workplace culture by utilizing a variety of HR tools and analytics to highlight organizational strengths and diagnose organizational challenges.  With over a decade of experience in the field, Christina has a deep understanding of the uniqueness of the education industry and uses that skill set to solve some of its most common challenges. Currently serving as the Human Resources Strategy and Operations Manager for one of University of Chicago’s largest departments, Information Technology Services unit, Christina has implemented process improvement initiatives, created strong connections within adjacent communities and continues to ensure that the human and compassionate component is always a factor in organizational decisions.  

Christina’s career focus has always had an HR foundation with extensive experience in all areas of HR management, from recruitment and talent management to performance management and employee relations. Christina continues to have a proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies that drive employee engagement, retention, and performance. With a “never stop growing” mindset, Christina continues to expand her skill set while never veering from the course where people matter most. In previous years, Christina has been employed at Chicago Public Schools supporting over 90 schools in an HR and Operations capacity. 

Overall, Christina hopes that her skill set is continues to be the driving force of her personal mission which is to be a person who is committed to making a positive impact on the organizations she serves and the surrounding communities. Christina is passionate about building strong, collaborative relationships with employees and stakeholders and are dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
