Elaine H. Alexander, MS, MBA, PhD, PMP®, PgMP®

Project Manager, American Joint Commission on Cancer, American College of Surgeons

Elaine Alexander is a project and program management professional with over twenty years of experience in large corporations regulated by the FCC and the FDA. She is currently the project manager for the American Joint Committee on Cancer at the American College of Surgeons in Chicago. Her experience in project and portfolio management in the life sciences includes the development of global teams for the research and development of generic drugs, specialty pharmaceuticals, and life-cycle management planning across a corporate portfolio of pharmaceuticals and medical devices. She holds a PhD in organizational development; masters’ degrees in business administration, communications, and computing; and advanced project management certifications from the University of Chicago and Stanford University. She is certified as both a Project and Program Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
