Karine Bravais, MA, MS

Karine manages the portfolio of non-credit professional certificate programs at the University of Chicago’s Professional Education, where she leads the programmatic strategy of new program development, and oversees the curricular growth and performance of existing offerings.

Karine was most recently the humanities program director at the Illinois Institute of Art where she was responsible for managing the humanities component of the programs, and supervised tutoring and support services. Prior to that role, she was the general education department chair at Le Cordon Bleu Chicago.

She has over twenty years of experience as a higher education administrator, as well as college instructor, teaching French and psychology courses.

Karine holds two master’s degrees, in French literature from the University of South Carolina and in psychology from Université Lumière Lyon II, France.
