Katherine Faydash, MUPP

Katherine Faydash is an editor and researcher with a master’s in urban planning and policy. She has edited hundreds of books—ranging from academic and policy work to memoir and translation—and works across manuscript editing, editorial consulting, developmental projects, and translation evaluation. She teaches Introduction to Developmental Editing at UChicago Professional and occasionally manuscript editing. At UIC’s Great Cities Institute, she leads community-engaged research projects with nonprofits and local governments to generate applied findings that inform planning, policy, and funding strategies.
