Prepare for a career in religious leadership both in traditional ministerial professions and in new and emerging forms of ministry.

You will gain a broad foundational knowledge about religion through a sequence of courses designed to establish a breadth of competence in religious studies, including a thorough understanding of scriptural, historical, and theological foundations for ministry. The program welcomes students from a wide variety of faith communities, including Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, and secular humanist students. You will be able to take courses offered by the city’s several theological schools, and to engage in training and learning experiences throughout the Chicago metropolitan area.
