Anna Kendall
PDC Student Advisory Board Ambassador | Technical Editor, Writer, and Coach, Aviation Consultancy
Anna Kendall is an editor, writer, and coach. She works for an aviation consultancy, where she manages the firm-wide newsletter, develops workshops on technical writing, coaches consultants on the writing process, and edits documents for clients. Anna is the author of College PaperBuddy (2nd edition, 2022), and she’s edited and written in a variety of fields, from advertising to psychology. Anna also coaches other professionals on building a personal brand; her research on this topic, and experience building her own brand, has culminated in presentations for professional organizations, such as the University of Chicago, American Medical Writers Association – Greater Chicago Area Chapter, Greater Illinois Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, and ACES: The Society for Editing. Anna holds an MA in Writing Pedagogy from DePaul University and three certificates from the University of Chicago: Conscious Leadership and Team Management, Medical Writing and Editing, and Editing. Through her involvement with the University of Chicago, she was invited to join the Professional Development Certificates (PDC) Student Advisory Board, for which she served as a board member for five years before transitioning to a board ambassador role.
