Charlotte Chase, MSc

Charlotte Chase is a biostatistician and epidemiologist with a strong focus on program evaluation, health equity, and data science. With extensive experience in research and teaching in both hospital and academic settings. Currently, Charlotte is an epidemiologist at the Boston Public Health Commission and previously served as an evaluation fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Charlotte's research portfolio encompasses many topics, including conducting qualitative research for the "High-Risk Opioid Prescribers and Overdose in MA" Study at Tufts University School of Medicine. Her research output has contributed to understanding and addressing the opioid use disorder epidemic. She has successfully published on this critical issue, showcasing her commitment to combating public health crises. Charlotte is also actively involved in psittacine conservation and ecology research at Texas A&M University, where she applies her statistical skills to support vital conservation efforts.

Charlotte holds an MS in Biostatistics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, as well as an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, demonstrating her global perspective on public health challenges.
