Jessica Robertson, CCRP

Clinical Research Manager, Section of Hematology/Oncology, University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences

Jessica Robertson, CCRP, has almost a decade of experience in Clinical Research across both academic and industry realms. Jessica currently oversees multiple disease teams within the section of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Chicago and partners with other teams within the University and the Comprehensive Cancer Center to aid in the study start-up process, daily operations, and overall management of oncology clinical trials. Within this role, she also manages a team of research professionals, providing training and mentorship to help facilitate their growth and understanding of the field. Jessica completed the Graham School certificate in Medical Writing and Editing in 2019, and used the skillset gained to review and edit medical and scientific grants, papers and abstracts that were ultimately used to attract philanthropic support for Investigator Initiated Clinical Trials and research initiatives within the section. That same year she also became a Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) through the Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) and has since maintained that certification through many continuing education opportunities. Jessica is passionate about clinical research and providing opportunities for those exploring healthcare outside of medical practice to make an impact in the future of healthcare and disease eradication made possible by clinical research.
