Instructor Profile
Leslie Plaisted
Career Strategy | Leadership Development | Thoughtful Career Transitions & Leadership Growth
Leslie Plaisted is a career strategist and coach based in London, with nearly two decades of experience at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In her current role as Director of Global Employer Relations, she has built and sustained relationships with senior professionals and organisations across financial services, asset management, technology, private equity, and other industries, working across EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
Her career has taken her from New York to Chicago, Singapore, and London, with roles spanning law, education, and the arts along the way — experience that has given her a genuine understanding of how careers evolve differently across cultures, industries, and life stages. That varied path shapes her belief that careers are rarely linear, and that this is rarely a problem.
Leslie is currently completing the Institute of Leadership & Management Level 7 Certificate for Executive and Senior Level Coaches and Mentors, a master's-equivalent qualification, and works with individuals navigating career transitions, leadership development, and questions of professional direction. She uses a solution-focused approach, working with what is already there rather than imposing a framework from the outside.
She adheres to the ethical guidelines of the British School of Coaching Code of Professional Conduct.
