Ayo Adegbiji
Senior Associate Director of Global Career and Leadership Development
Ayo is a global executive coach, leadership development architect, and coach trainer with over three decades of cross-functional and multi-industry experience spanning FMCG, pharmaceutical, management consulting, social enterprise, and people development domains.
His career began in commercial and business partnering roles with globally recognized organizations, including GSK, Coca-Cola HBC, and Accenture. This foundation in high-performance environments continues to shape his work today, allowing him to engage credibly with senior leaders on complex strategic, operational, and cultural challenges.
Over time, Ayo transitioned fully into people development, designing and delivering career and leadership development programs at leading institutions such as Chicago Booth and Imperial College Business School, working with senior leaders and professionals from more than 40 countries.
Alongside this, he founded a coaching and consulting practice, through which he has extended his impact with leaders and organizations across private and public sectors.
Ayo's work sits at the intersection of corporate performance and human transformation. He brings together operational excellence with coaching mastery, grounded in neuroscience, behavioral science, and systems thinking, to enable meaningful and sustained change—for individuals, organizations, and the wider systems they operate within.
In his role as Senior Associate Director of Global Career and Leadership Development at Chicago Booth, and as Founding Director & Principal Consultant of his coaching practice, he partners with leaders from organizations including Google, Amazon, JP Morgan, BNP Paribas, Blackstone, Medtronic, UNICEF, the NHS, and Saudi Aramco. He supports them in strengthening leadership presence, amplifying impact, and navigating critical career transitions.
Ayo also contributes to the development of the coaching profession as a tutor on the CMI Award in Professional Coaching Practice, as a facilitator for the Leader as Coach Leadership Lab at Chicago Booth Business School, London, and as an external facilitator at Cambridge Judge Business School, where he delivers an experiential session on Coaching as a Leader to Global Executive MBA students.
