Liz Long

Liz Long is a professional editor, author, and publishing professional with 15 years of experience in magazine and book publishing. She serves as the Editor of The Roanoker, Virginia’s longest-running city magazine, where she oversees multiple editorial products and produces a regional storytelling podcast. A USA Today bestselling author, Liz has published more than 20 titles, directed numerous writers conferences and events, and works as a freelance developmental and copy editor for fiction authors across multiple genres. She recently completed the Editing Certificate through the University of Chicago. When she’s not working, she’s—no surprise—reading, usually with her dog Henry on her lap.
