Steph Thompson is a certified editor specializing in memoir and literary fiction—stories with depth. She works with novice and experienced writers alike. Before starting her freelance editing business, she spent 20 years as a news reporter and a freelance writer for media and business clients. She remains active in the editing community as a board member for The University of Chicago Professional Development Certificate Program, and as a member of ACES: the Society for Editing, the Editorial Freelancer’s Association, and the Northwest Editors Guild.
