Yacob Abdi, MS

Yacob Abdi is a program manager for the Medical Writing and Editing Training Certificate program.

Before joining the University, Yacob served in various capacities and taught at different higher-learning institutions for over twenty years. He taught at the Illinois Institute of Art for fifteen years and has been teaching at Wilbur Wright College since 2016.

Yacob holds a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Chicago. Additionally, he has an AAS in Computer Networking and Systems Administration and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
