From studying real-world medical manuscripts and publications, you will learn the fundamentals and best practices needed to enter the profession and to succeed as a skilled medical communicator. The comprehensive curriculum will train you in the industry-standard AMA Manual of Style. You will learn from experienced writers and editors working in the medical publishing field. Program instructors have worked with and for organizations such as the American Medical Association, WebMD, the Mayo Clinic, The Journal of Infectious Diseases, and The Journal of Graduate Medical Education.

Designed for professionals who have a background in science and want to acquire writing skills, or who have a background in writing or an English degree and want to add a comprehension of medical terminology. Medical writers often move on to editor positions.
