Sherri L. Ter Molen, PhD (Panelist)

Sherri L. Ter Molen is a communication professional, writer, and editor based in Chicago. She completed the University of Chicago’s online Editing certificate program in 2022. She also holds a PhD in communication from Wayne State University, an MA in organizational and multicultural communication from DePaul University, and a BA in interdisciplinary communications from Olivet College. She has served as an academic journal’s acquisitions editor, volunteered as the public relations manager for a series of scholarly conferences, and organized social events for a graduate student association. Prior to her academic career, Sherri worked in broadcast television and advertising. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Korean culture, learning about the financial independence retire early (FIRE) movement, and having virtual Sunday dinners with her husband and brother.
